OFCA and the Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau ("CTT") held a bilateral meeting in Hong Kong on 17 January 2024. The two delegations, led by Mr Chaucer Leung, Director-General of Communications, and Ms Derby Lau, Director of CTT, shared the latest status of the telecommunications markets, 5G development, radiation safety of radio base stations and measures for combating scam calls. Constructive exchanges were also made on key issues such as supporting the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
