Following the shortlisting of 10 finalists in August, the second “5G Campus Application Competition” organised by OFCA and co-organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) under the theme “5G x AI – Smart Living and Learning Anytime Anywhere” will hold the final round assessment in November.
Each of the ten finalists is required to submit its final entry, which includes a mobile application and/or a relevant prototype incorporating AI technology with 5G service. In order to assist the ten teams to make good preparation for the final round assessment to be held in end-November, OFCA and HKPC organised a 2.5-day “5G and AI Themed Mobile Application Development Training Workshop” for them from 21 to 23 August. The workshop was rich in content. Apart from giving a comprehensive introduction to mobile application development, it also included a training on presentation skills.
The teams are required to submit their final entries by 8 November and attend the final round assessment on 30 November to introduce and explain their creative ideas of entries to the judging panel in person. The final results of the Competition and award presentation ceremony will be held on the same day after the assessment session.
