21Vianet Mobile Limited ("21Vianet Mobile") is a licensed mobile virtual network operator ("MVNO") offering predominantly prepaid mobile services in Hong Kong.

The Office of the Communications Authority ("OFCA") received notification from 21Vianet Mobile that it would cease the provision of its mobile services with effect from 1 February 2019. 21Vianet Mobile undertakes to facilitate its customers to port out their mobile numbers to other mobile service providers for a period of three months. In light of the above, OFCA reminds members of the public not to purchase any SIM card of 21Vianet Mobile remaining in circulation in the market. For existing customers of 21Vianet Mobile, they are advised not to recharge their SIM cards and to approach the company for enquiry of arrangements arising from the service cessation. 21Vianet Mobile’s customers who wish to continue to use mobile services with their existing mobile numbers should approach other mobile service providers for number porting as soon as possible, and in any case no later than 30 April 2019, failing which their existing mobile numbers may not be portable to other mobile service providers after that date.
