Telecom Equipment Certification

Under Section 32E of the Telecommunications Ordinance, the Communications Authority (CA) may accredit organisations or institutions for the purpose of carrying out testing and certifying equipment or installations against prescribed specifications issued by the CA. Interested parties with expertise in testing and certification of telecommunications products are invited to apply for accreditation and recognition as Local Certification Bodies, Foreign Testing Laboratories and Certification Bodies and Recognised Testing/Certification Agencies.
