Yes, alright. I'll switch to this new monthly plan then. |

Waah, without a copy of the contract in hand, can Blue Tone really remember all the contract details by just listening to the sales person over the phone? |

Don't worry. The Industry Code of Practice for Telecommunications Service Contracts has been implemented. From now on, service users will receive a written confirmation from their operators after they have verbally agreed to subscribe to a telecommunications service. Equivalent to a copy of the contract, the written confirmation will list out clearly all the details and charges of the service subscribed for service users' scrutiny. |

What can I do if I have problem with the contract after I have received the written confirmation? |

If the contract details are different from what the sales person has promised you, you should follow up with your operator immediately. It doesn't matter whether you have subscribed to the service through a doorstep visit or over the phone. You should always check and think through before signing a contract. Don’t enter into a service contract lightly. To fully protect your interests, please also check with your operator on whether the contract complies with the Industry Code. |
