After the implementation of the Industry Code of Practice for Telecommunications Service Contracts, service users can now enjoy at least seven days of cooling-off period if the service contract is signed during an unsolicited sales visit. Unless you have started using the service, accepted the gifts offered by the operator, or agreed to curtail the cooling-off period because of some other reasons, otherwise you may cancel your contract during the cooling-off period without the need to pay any charges. |
