

A disadvantaged user who has difficulty in reading or writing may not be able to fill in a service termination form. Or if you have mobility problems, you may find it hard to make a trip to a designated place to return the equipment you rent from your service provider.
You should tell your service provider the problem. Some service providers may accept verbal termination and/or provide on-site equipment collection upon request.
In any case, before placing a termination order, always check with your service provider the expiry date of your contract first. You should also be aware that:
- Early termination of a fixed-term contract may incur early termination charge.
- Hardware fee may be charged for equipment/hardware not returned.
- Service providers normally require at least one-month notification before termination of service.
